  THE NIGERIA MICRO FINANCE TECHNOLOGY CONGRESS 2009

  :: 2009 events

Introduction

On an annual basis the e-payment breakfast forum brings together epayment stake holders to network. This provides a unique opportunity for players to understand the current dynamics of the industry in Nigeria and project what to expect in the New Year. The forum also provides a roadmap with respect to trends, prospects, challenges and penetration issues.

The 2009 epayment forum will focus on the latent demands in ebanking. Getting the large markets that are yet to be accessed, realized or penetrated, into the use of cards and ebanking services. The concept of latent demand for cards in this context typically refers to something that is dormant, not observable or not yet realized. Demand is the notion of an economic quantity that a target population or market requires under different assumptions of price, quality, and distribution, among other factors.
